Find your next car boot

Went today. Staff sat down so drove through and stopped my car to assess if it was worth staying.

The nastiest rudest women knocked on the car window and shouted loads of abuse at me .

There were about 4 cars there so wasn’t worth paying £2 to stay , but after the abuse the nasty woman gave me I didn’t want to be there ..

Not a clever way to run a business / not a clever person I guess .

Went today to sell a lot of my mums contents of her house that she had just bough( with contents she didnt want!) i took large garden ornaments and lots of other items .i came home with an empty car. I sold cheap to get rid which was the intentions i went with. This car boot is very well organised and a pleasure to go to.

Everyone there said today was the last day this year but internet says Oct? Is there one more??? Ide like to know.

Everything online says the car boot sale is open today. Arrived to find it is infact not open

We have seen that other people are now coming forward with their horrible experiences with Chris and Pendeen Car boot sale. Finally people are standing up against him and he is busy getting exposed for what he really is. I personally had to endure severe verbal and psychological abuse from him for years. His loyal followers who goes to his car boot doesn’t know the real Chris. The abusive and mentally unstable man that he is. The real reason that the car boot is coming to an end is because he is no longer mentally stable and on a more serious matter his tax fraud is busy coming to light. We know that Chris makes £52 000 + a year cash at Pendeen car boot. He only declares some of it and then makes out that it’s for “charity” It’s all one big SCAM. Chris is also fully aware of the stolen merchandise that gets sold there, in fact he supports it! Nobody pays TAX. Cash TAX free money. What Chris did to us and our family is unspeakable unfortunately. Everyone has got a price and certain high up people are on his cash flow payroll.

This boot sale is run by complete idiots! The bootsale is really badly run, the organisers haven’t got a clue. The buyer queue is where all the cars come in, the small track they have isn’t big enough for both the buyers (pedestrians) and the cars.

They don’t have any toilets on site, not even porta loos, surely that’s something that should be there.

It’s a free access field and they behave like they own the field, by blocking bits off to the general public.

On their Facebook page, they don’t like people disagreeing with their views and block anyone with a different opinion, they don’t answer any questions on there unless its in agreement to their views.

The layout of the bootsale is terrible, it shows they are amateurs.

This boot sale is so bad, its really not worth going there.

There is plenty of better car boot sales around, run by people that know what they are doing.

Well organised and very big, lots of immigrants wanting free stuff and five-fingered discounts but some great locals and variety of stalls

The reason i am giving this review is because they have shown loyalty to their sellers and customers. I have attended Hayes car boot for a number of years and i respect they have not got greedy with entrance fee and pitch fee. There is only one problem. When your going to sell, your not able to go straight in on arrival. Because buyers and sellers are going in at the same time, this does not give you enough time to set up. If this could be looked at this would be great. Other than that. Hayes is a good carboot. Staff are not rude and are welcoming.

details on this web sight for the 17th August are completely wrong. there is no boot sale on this day due to another event. times are wrong . gates open at 7.30 for sellers and 8.00 for buyers

We go every week as a family- its the best in London for sure!!!

I feel so happy when I go to this Carboot, there is a plenty of nice things as clothes, shoes, toys, fresh vegetables and fruit, free range eggs, ice cream van, people are friendly

very very small and only a handful of people.

Just be aware, absolutely no dogs allowed on site!! You won’t know this until.you get there. Travelled over 45mins just to be told no dogs.

Lots of house clearance people with a focus on vintage stuff, not modern tat. A few individuals clearing out their lofts but mainly traders in second hand goods – furniture, art, homeware, clothes, jewellery. As an online vintage trader, I love it.
